The brief

Maison Terre wanted its first themed print issue to feel like an object worth collecting — a magazine that behaves more like a book.

Our approach

We paced the issue like a walk through the seasons of flax, pairing long-form essays with generous full-bleed photography and a restrained two-typeface system.

Each chapter opens with a single image and a single line, giving readers room to breathe between stories.

Outcome

The first print run sold out in three weeks and the format has since become the magazine’s annual signature.
