The brief

Ember wanted a space that felt like a living room for the whole street — somewhere to linger long after the last cup.

Our approach

We worked with local makers on terracotta tiles, oak counters and hand-painted signage, weaving the identity directly into the architecture.

Lighting was designed around the hearth-like espresso bar, so the room glows warmer as the evening draws in.

Outcome

Ember opened to queues around the block and is now expanding to a second location.
